Advances in Vascular Microneurosurgery meeting (October 10-12, 2010. Arkansas Neuroscience Institute)
Objectives: This course is designed for Neurosurgeons, Neurosurgery Residents/Fellows, Physician Assistants and Neuronurses with emphasis on learning the basics of Microneurosurgery. This includes microanatomic dissection with live surgical demonstrations, lectures with videos and case discussion. At the completion of the course, the participants will be able to:
‧ Describe the basics of microsurgical techniques for intracranial aneurysms.
‧ Identify the different cranial surgical approaches for aneurysms including trascavernous, subtemporal, anterior fossa and far lateral transcondylar.
‧ Analyze the approaches to live surgery for aneurysms.
